We emphasize the patient taking an active part in their health care. We are very emphatic that if we cannot help you with you condition in a timely manner, we work with you to find a health care provider that can. Often times, patient care is managed with a multidisciplinary approach – working with other health care professionals to help with a patient’s complex problem.

X-rays are sometimes taken, particularly if you are elderly, have had the problem for more than a month, have been involved in an accident or of the pain is particularly severe. If you have x-rays of your problem area from another facility, this often eliminates the need for x-rays at our office if you bring them with you on the first visit. If there are problems with insurance coverage, often we will see about having x-rays done elsewhere to allow in-network coverage.
